Welcome to our home pages.

Electronics and flesh. Sweat and plastic. Apples of Idun mix electro, industrial and triphop together with a slight twist of punk attitude. It can get brutal at this disco...or just plain beautiful. Who cares as long as it makes you feel ?

The band took its first steps in the summer of 2004, when Eetu Moisio started the recording of the album, which became 'Widow'. When recording was in the final stages, came Jouni Korhonen (ex-Whip Me Nicely) to the picture, soon followed by drummer Jani Vilhunen (also ex-Whip Me Nicely and a tour drummer for I'dees). They both had a big influence on the live sound of Apples of Idun. Finally Mikko Korhonen joined the group to play keyboards live. In the late 2007, Lari Sallinen replaced Mikko to play keyboards and guitar.

From the very different musical backgrounds of its members, comes together a completely unique sound that makes Apples of Idun one of the most interesting new bands. Right now, Apples of Idun is in the studio finishing their second album. Check out the studio diary to follow the progress. We hope to see you at the concerts in 2008!
